How many times have you seen a city from above? Brooklyn-based photographer Navid Baraty is enamored with urban aerial views and wants to share these breathtaking perspectives with the world. Now when he visits a skyscraper he brings his camera to capture the spectacular moment of looking down and seeing the new city in a new, unexpected way.
Baraty was inspired to start this series while lunching in a skyscraper in Tokyo. “I looked straight down and saw an amazing geometric pattern on the Tokyo street scene,” he told Fast Company. “I realized that the scene really said a lot about the character of Japan."
